Greetings Dharma Friends, We hope you are all well and taking good care of yourself and your loved ones. Virtual Sangha will continue through the month of May. We are very fortunate for being able to meet and come together virtually now more than ever. As his Holiness Karmapa said “Let’s be the Dharma now” Taking refuge in the Sangha means we find safety and strength in fellow walkers of the path. It has been a great experience to welcome all of you virtually from near and far. We would like to thank all of you, who have donated or have become a “Friend of Santa Monica KTC” during this time as well. This month we welcome Debra Ann Robinson-Menzies on May 12 and 26 for Dharma discussion and Meditation. Debra Ann is a student of Thrangu Rinpoche since 1985. To participate in our Virtual Sangha, you will get an invite via email to the Zoom meeting on the day of each event. Looking forward to seeing you all there, Take care, Karmapa Chenno! Furthermore, mere possession of a human body is not a sufficient base from which to practice dharma, because one has to have all the other appropriate conditions in order to practice. So, this lifetime is an opportunity which one may not obtain again if one does not utilize it properly at this time.
