Karma Thegsum Chöling Southern California

Karma Thegsum Chöling Southern California is a Buddhist Meditation and Study center that belongs to the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. It was previously known as Santa Monica KTC. Over the past 20 years, we have provided meditation and Dharma teachings in Los Angeles. Recently, we have extended our reach to Southern California and beyond.

 Every Thursday, we provide online teachings led by various Lamas. We also conduct group practice and book study sessions. Additionally, we offer in-person and Zoom meditation classes every first and third Saturday and a monthly in-person group practice. 

In addition to our regular classes and sessions, we host special in-person teaching events throughout the year, inviting various teachers. 

We are affiliated with Karma Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD), the North American seat of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, the head of the 900-year-old Karma Kagyu Lineage.
