Inspirational Quote:
Normally, we have many different kinds of thoughts running through our minds. Some of them are pleasant, even delightful. Some of them, however, are unpleasant, agitating, and worrisome. Now, if you examine the thoughts that are present in your mind, you will see that pleasant thoughts are comparatively few, while unpleasant thoughts are many. As long as your mind is controlled by these thoughts passing through it, you will be quite unhappy. In order to gain control over the thoughts arising in our mind, we begin with the meditation practice of tranquility.
